Don't faint - it's really me. I know I haven't blogged in a while but between it being winter and I am not an outdoor person in the winter and no longer having a pet to "entertain" me - not much goes on it seems :)
We did have an awesome baby and infant dedication service today at church. I think we had like 19 kidlets and the girls definitely outnumbered the boys. We also had a HUGE crowd with lots of family visiting for this special event - check out the congregation photos below - if I can get them to upload. Okey doke - I can't get the "insert image" button to show up on the screen where I add pictures.............
Yesterday was beautiful out with some people (definitely not me) wearing shorts and today - cold and snowing. Thankfully we only got about a 1/2 inch or so and I could use the shovel to take care of the drive, sidewalk and steps. But I was pretty chilled when I got done.
I "became my father" when I got in my comfy clothes and put on my house slipper. I had them on the wrong feet. It made me chuckle remembering the time Mike, Dad and I walked uptown to Tulip Time one year. Dad was ahead of us and Mike said something looked "weird" about Dad's feet. After walking several blocks he realized he had put his shoes on the wrong feet :) So imagine following someone with the wrong shoes on the wrong feet and it looks like his feet are kind of swinging to the outside of each step because the toes of the shoes are pointing that way...........
