Well, I'm trying the mono vision deal again which is wearing a contact in my dominate eye for distance and my non-dominate eye doesn't have a contact for reading. It's kind of weird the first time you put the contact in because your eyes "fight" each other to balance out your vision. I had a follow up contact appointment after work tonight and the comfort of the contact (in my eye) was fine. I was given one more (new) contact to try for two weeks (extended wear) and if my eyes can play nice together - I may go back to wearing contacts - or I should say wearing a contact. I'd like to be able to wear my contact at work so I'm not continually taking my glasses on and off but it's very dry at work and I'm not sure if that will bother my eye with the contact. My real goal with the contact was to not have to wear glasses on weekends, vacation, etc., when glasses would have been a "pain".
Speaking of pains - check out my boo boo. I think it's healing ok. I graduated from the jumbo sized bandaid that covered the lower third of my hand to the largest normal sized bandaid. My wrist was SO tired of having something wrapped on/around it since a week ago Monday 24/7.
You'll notice I changed the font color from pink to blue - Mom and Dad said it was hard to read my blog on their Web TV and I did wonder if the pink color would be a little light. Hopefully this color works for everyone.
I had to mow tonight and really didn't want to - but I got the front lawn taken care of. I thought the new sod - which was VERY long - would plug the mower up every few feet but it wasn't too bad. Now I have to attack the back yard tomorrow night after work. Mowing isn't that big of a deal but when the grass seems to really grow and you mow 1-2-3 times a week it gets a little old. And I know this winter when I'm shoveling inches of snow out of the driveway I'll be thinking I'd rather be mowing grass :)
Any blog experts out there - I'd like to insert a counter on my blog and also figure out why there is so much space on the right side between my Thought and Photo of the Muddy Greyhound. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.
